高尾山の豊かな森をまちの中心に引き寄せた「繭」のようなかたち。地域の木材を用いた架構がやわらかく人を包み込み、自然光や雨水をも取り込む空間を形づくる。誰もが使いやすく、まちにひらかれた場所となることをめざした。
