漂泊のヤドカリ
漂流物の再生が生む海辺の日陰

海に漂うプラスチックゴミを回収し板材となった素材の可能性を探り、海洋ゴミという問題そのものに目を向けてもらうため、海辺に小さな日除けの構造を設えた。三角形のかたちは、浜辺を歩くやどかりの殻を思わせ、人が足をとめ、ひとときの休息を得る仮の居場所となる。廃材でありながら、ひかりを受けてかすかに輝く表面は、風景に溶け込みながら、静かに問いを投げかける存在となることを願っている。
